I want to officially take this time to apologize to everyone for not blogging like I should!! LOL... I have neglected you all and I totally promise to make that up to you this week with at least 3 outstanding blogging entries! I have had some personal issues in my life that I have let get me down these past couple weeks but no more I say!!! Its positive Amy for the rest of the month!
Ok if you have been reading up on the whole job quest, job interview thing for me I just wanted to give you all an update. Yes I was denied that really cool position with the state. However, Monday afternoon I called the guy that had interviewed me. I wanted to thank him for the opportunity to interview with him for my dream job. He told me that he really wished he could have hired me. However, the girl they did hire had lots of software experience with the software that they use. Keep in mind reader this is no software you can download in beta version for free from the internet!! This is software used to catch bad guys. Soo... anyways he said he really liked my personality..etc and that he was going to write another grant this year for another positon. He said that definitely he was going to keep me in mind, and ALSO he told me that it would be a lot easier to hire me if I was already employed with the state. So that dear friends, is what I'm doing now!! I'm calling all my networks, and contacts to get my foot in the door of the state capitol of Frankfort, KY!! I am very fortunate to have contact networks in the law enforcement side so I am calling those folks weekly. I will update you guys on my current job outlook as I learn more information. But this is definitely the boost I needed to get me through my day. I keep hoping something will work out..!! It has too right?
